RESPONSIBILITIES:
The e-Learning Assistant has an active role in the day-to-day management of the LMS (Learning Management System) application. He/She will upload content, assign courses and curricula, run reports from the LMS and instruct colleagues in the use of the LMS.
The e-Learning Assistant is responsible for assisting in the management and maintenance of the system. The e-Learning Assistant is involved in certain aspects of training administration for the application including but not limited to: course content loading, database security, password set-up, troubleshooting errors and the importing of data from other sources into the kgb Learn Center. The e-Learning Assistant is the primary point for initial trainee/employee issue resolution. The e-Learning Assistant is also responsible for regular reporting on Learning Analytics from the Learn Center.
Generate and distribute reports using the Learning Management System (LMS) web page to check on status of trainees. Responsible for creating User Accounts in the LMS and keeping them organized for tracking purposes. Responsible for all Training Courses in the LMS - uploading, functionality (from a trainee’s perspective) and problems with navigation
Provides daily support for any technical platform issues that cannot be resolved by the local Trainers. Serves as Liaison between kgb and Taleo (Learn.com) technical support team and e-Learning Team. Communicates with trainees via email, Instant Messenger and possibly phone
Help create and manage LMS standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure the accuracy of the data in the LMS And corrects errors if necessary
Create, maintain and update lists, including list of LMS roles/permissions (Administrator, Supervisor, Trainer, etc.) Ensure the overall quality of the kgb’s Catalog including accuracy and comprehensiveness
Performs other duties as assigned/required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MassCommunication, Art / Design / Creative Multimedia, or equivalent.
Knowledgeable in current technology including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. Confident to deal with employees from all levels of the business
Team orientation
Knowledge in Training Process Flow a plus
Willing to be trained. Should be willing and able to learn new concepts.
Experience with Learning Management Systems a plus but by no means required
Experience with eLearning content development software a plus but not required
Applicants are required to work on a mid-pm shift, but on occassion these hours may need to be adjusted based on global training needs.
