Position Summary:
To develop, implement and manage a Web site and other Web and design initiatives that effectively describe and promote Talisma and its products. Working as a Web Site Designer at a global software company offers the opportunity to oversee a variety of projects. Talisma offers a unique environment that fosters individual growth and rewards performance. This position reports to the Director of Corporate Marketing in Bellevue, Washington.
Requirements:
• Creates a positive, sophisticated, and unique Internet presence that enhances the product image and attracts target customers.
• Strong project management background.
• Proven track record of delivering on large scale projects.
• Experience overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, resource allocation, and budget.
• Coordinates communications, meetings, and activities while handling dependencies among several remote groups or organizations.
• Familiar with the culture/community of the Internet, and knowledge of Internet concepts and the latest developments on the Web.
• Leadership experience designing compelling user interfaces.
• Understands the strengths and limitations of browser-based UIs.
• Understanding of Web-bound graphics manipulation and optimization issues.
• Masters the principles of layout, including grid concepts, typography, and placement.
• Expert knowledge of design programs such as Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Expert knowledge of Flash and Dreamweaver
• BA or equivalent experience
Education:
A minimum of 7 years experience in Graphic/Web Design for an agency or corporation in Marketing and/or Advertising, or equivalent Bachelors Degree in design, computer science, business, marketing, or related field, and experience managing large, complex projects.
