Description:
OSRP LLC is looking for individuals who are qualified for the position of Web Designer.

Responsibilities:
* The Web Designer is responsible for interpreting marketing input and then creating and producing the look and layout of individual Web pages, banners, e-mails and overall look and feel of all web assets. Design user interfaces for websites & web-based applications including visual look & feel. graphics, styles, navigation and layout. The goal is to create and produce effective Internet advertising that will increase sales. Formulate ideas on how we can improve our buy-through conversion by enhancing our user interface designs and integrate company branding into world-class eCommerce websites.
* Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Design visually attractive interfaces and web pages based on principles of design and usability
* Help to define our visual language in the form of design, framework, ecommerce concepts and shopping tools
* Look for ways to evolve the user experience in the form of smart design solutions and new user interactions
* Work collaboratively with UI designer, developers, and programmers to ensure design concepts are delivered according to concept
* Collaborate with all marketing channels and work with Design team to create consistent branding across all mediums
* Create fluid e-commerce initiatives and assist with the creative process from original concepts to final implementation
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design or web design
* 2 - 5 years experience in graphic/interactive design
* Strong talent for all elements of design, layout and typography
* Have a love of detail oriented work
* Superior knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
* Flash, Dreamweaver, Visio and Omnigraffle a plus
* Have a strong understanding of latest web technologies and their capabilities
* Fundamental understanding of GUI design and intuitive navigation schemes
* Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to keep abreast of innovative design trends and technologies
* Happy to hand-code HTML/CSS
* Technical Requirements:
* A competent understanding of semantic markup and CSS standards; ability to slice and dice for cross-browser compatibility.
* Strong understanding of web typography, and grids.
* Fluent in HTML; an extensive knowledge of CSS; and understanding of debug tools such as Firebug.
* JavaScript and PHP is a plus
* Understanding of accessibility issues (w3c compliant)
