JOB OVERVIEW:
Design, installation and support of customer premise telecommunications and data equipment for customers with between 10-250 employees in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The perfect candidate would have substantial telecom and data customer premise equipment experience, preferably in one or more of the product lines that we carry, with a strong sense of customer service.
TECHNOLOGY:
Nortel BCM phone system
3Com NBX phone system
Call center
Unified messaging, CTI, presence, VOIP, PBX networking
LAN/WAN, VPN, Exchange, security,QOS and wireless
Carrier circuits
DUTIES:
- System design and installation
- Maintenance & support
- System upgrade and re-design
- Network and telecom assessment services
- Adds, moves and changes
REQUIREMENTS:
- Product certification (or equivalent ) in two or more of above-listed areas
- 2+ years experience in telecommunications CPE or data networks.
- Readily available for after-hours work
- Substantial amount of driving in Bay Area on a daily basis
- Licensed driver with vehicle, clear driving record and proof of insurance
- Excellent communications skills
JOB LOCATION:
Field position in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, with headquarters in Hayward, CA.
