Responsibilities:
Works as a member of the documentation team
Gathers, organizes, researches, analyzes technical information, concepts, programs, and existing product information to document new or existing product functionality
Writes, edits, reviews, and proofs technical documentation based on design specifications and set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Consults with various stakeholders such as the client, project/business manager, development and QA Teams to ensure that information is correct, user friendly, and complete
Develops plans to capture information revisions and needs
Create/Select photographs, drawings, diagrams and charts to illustrate a process.
Study illustrations, specifications, mockups of processes to integrate and delineate a system and operating procedures.
Prepare status reports, effort estimates and prioritize tasks
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Communication, Education, or IT/Communication Related fields.
Excellent in English communication skills; oral and written
At least 1 year of working experience in writing technical manuals, guides, and design documents
Good command of desktop or web publishing tools such as MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, or other related tools
Ability to simultaneously work on different documentation modules and multiple products in a fast paced development environment, with minimum supervision.
Knowledge in programming concepts, SDLC, data modeling, flowcharting, and system analysis
Articulate, convey ideas, as well as transcribe/communicate both technical and non-technical subjects in a clear and concise fashion
A sample of prior work must be presented during the job interview.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are required.
Preferably able to read and analyze programming logic
Commitment to detail, quality, and customer focus
