SUMMARY:
Provide pre-sales product support assistance to enable sales through Ingram Micro.
Answer customer calls on assigned product categories within defined service levels.
Proactively develops and exhibits proficient use of resources, systems and communication skills in order to consistently deliver a quality customer experience.
Uses knowledge to inform and educates resellers to further assist the sales process.
Demonstrates time management skills to effectively accomplish assigned tasks.
Develop product knowledge and skills for creating appropriate solutions.
Demonstrate mastery of the English language - listening, comprehension and speaking.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Respond to calls/electronic support from customers within established service level parameters. Provide reseller staff and end users with full solution for business need. Record all information accurately in the Solution Quote
Attend all scheduled trainings, participate in vendor refresh sessions and Communication training. Work with Team Lead to identify knowledge and communication gaps and obtain required information or training.
Develop clear understanding of internal & vendor resources and be able to use them efficiently. Develop an understanding of products in order to ensure quality catalogue descriptions and attached options.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of University studies required. Technical certifications and /or Bachelor’s degree in computer related studies preferred.
Previous work experience required: one (1) year related experience in help desk, network technician, technical sales or customer service required
Summarize the minimum kinds of knowledge, skills and abilities required to do this job:
Basic knowledge of hardware or software
Skill in: keyboarding, MS Office Suite (Word & excel), basic sales skills, time management; good communication skills (written & verbal) excellent listening skills, good comprehension skills
Ability to: learn complex proprietary systems; to work as team member or independently, to relay/share information accurately
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
Must have basic knowledge in using office equipment (Calculator, Personal computer or terminal, Computer printer, FAX, Photocopier, Telephone, Carts)
