MicroSourcing Philippines is looking for individuals who are qualified for the position of Technical Support Officer. Successfuly applicants for Technical Support Officer will have a great career in MicroSourcing Philippines.

Responsibilities:
- Provide Remote Technical Support via chat, email and phone
- Work closely with the Service Coordinator to resolve simple to complex technical issues


Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent customer-service skills.

- Attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions completely.

- At least 5 years of experience in IT support roles

- At least 5 years working extensively with Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista, W7 at least), being able to install it, secure it, diagnose complex faults, and repair faults.

- Solid understanding of computer hardware and how to determine the difference between software and hardware faults

- At least 5 years of general experience with TCP/IP networks, being able to configure networks on PCs, switches, and NAT-based routers.

- At least 5 years of general experience with Microsoft office, including a very strong understanding of all recent MS Outlook versions.

- Solid Experience working with customers to resolve their IT issues.

- Solid Experience working with remote support technologies like RDP, VNC, LogMeIn.

- Solid experience with different Antivirus, Antispam, and AntiMalware software

- Able to very happily and tirelessly perform assigned duties regardless of whether they are capable of doing more complex tasks.

The following skills/experience/qualifications are not essential but will be viewed favourably:

- 10 years+ working directly in IT support and network support

- Significant knowledge of and experience working with Microsoft servers

- Direct working Experience with N-Central monitoring products (or Kaseya or similar monitoring software)

- Direct working Experience with PSA/ticketing systems (ideally, AutoTask)

- Experience working in Level 1 or Level 2 call centre, resolving IT issues (for example, an Internet provider)

- Microsoft or networking qualifications eg MCSE, CCNA

- Ability to configure Cisco or Watchguard firewalls/routers

- Direct working experience with Hyper-V
