Asylum is looking for individuals who are qualified for the position of Technical Support Engineer.
Successfuly applicants for Technical Support Engineer will have a great career in Asylum.
Key duties:
- Handling and trouble shooting customer requests escalated for technical assistance.
- Registration and maintenance of customer data, customer requests, and other customer-related technical information.
- Working in close cooperation with network operations and the R&D departement.
- Acceptance Test Procedure of telecommunication and networking devices.
- Case study, traffic analysis of VoIP and PSTN communications.
- Giving expert opinions for designing and extending telephony systems
- Providing design documents for various purposes.
Key skills and experience required:
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree (preferably ELECTRICAL Engineering with faculty of TELECOMMUNICATION and with Electrical or IT technical high-school)
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Creativity
- Very good skills in projects execution (cabling, powering, grounding, setup , planning, deploying, testing)
- Good experience with Ethernet(LAN/MAN/WAN) and ATM networking
- Good understanding of TCP/IP stacks
- Understading of SIP and H.323 protocolls
- Cisco or Cisco style CLI programing experience
- Experience with analogue, hybrid, digital, DECT and IP-PABX systems
- Ability to debug DSS1, SS7, ISDN-BRI & ISDN-PRI
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both English & Hungarian with the ability to interpret technical documentations if necessary
- Customer-focused approach and good interpersonal skills
- Team player
