Responsibilities:
ï€ Assists in the planning, design, and implementation of mission critical servers (such as database servers, corporate email and work group, web servers, similar tools).
Plans, executes, and manages systems management procedures for the server farm
Plans and executes performance monitoring and tuning tasks, backup strategies, disaster recovery strategies, security monitoring, and related tasks
Provide on-call 24/7 support as required
Implements DHCP and User access responsibilities in NT Domain Server
Implements User access responsibilities in MS Outlook, Anti-Virus programs, System Backups
Ability to prepare proposals for information systems and network requirements
VPN services and WINS
Manage Corporate & Data Center network
Any other duties that may be assigned
Requirements:
Education:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Windows2000/2003 Server (MCSE) certifications a strong asset,.
Knowledge:
SQL Server 7.0/2000/2003/2005 and IIS/Apache
MySQL
Windows 2000/2003 Server
Windows 9x/ME/XP/Vista
VPN services and WINS
MS Office
Experience:
2 years & up experience in systems administration NT-based systems
Specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
Experience in Microsoft Windows/Linux/Unix Environment
MSSQL/MySQL Administration a plus
Familiarity with IP PBX and VOIP Unified Communications solution
