Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining the highest possible level of performance, security, and availability of the server infrastructure by properly maintaining the server infrastructure and all associated devices.
Works very closely with the LAN infrastructure Senior Network Administrator in maintaining highest possible availability and performance of the network in general.
Assists IT management as the lead technical resource for IT Server-Infrastructure and user community.
Applies advanced technical knowledge and experience to the solution of a broad array of business and technical problems.
Act in the capacity of Project Lead for server infrastructure related projects. With minimum supervision, make decisions and manage multiple projects of medium to high process and technical complexity.
Responsible for systems management, performance monitoring and benchmarking, support and maintenance of MS Windows 2K3 servers and Active Directory environment.
May require weekend work and call support on weekends.
Provides and maintains detailed documentation of all implementations, changes, and solutions.
Main IT personnel responsible for the upkeep of the Windows 2003 R2/2008 R2 server platform and e-mail system.
Requirements:
At least 3 years experience in Systems Administration, managing software and hardware in Information Technology department with 3 years experience working with Active Directory.
Must have experience with planning and implementation, standards development, file server and software maintenance, data backups and recovery, capacity planning and monitoring.
Must have experience with domain migration from Windows 2003 R2 to Windows 2008 R2 either as a team lead or a team member.
Must have technical Project Management skills.
Database experience required for MS SQL/Oracle from a Sys Admin perspective, not a DBA admin perspective.
Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP based networking.
Exchange 2K3 & 2K7 Server Administration experience.
Experience in building or participation in Disaster Recovery procedure for all production systems.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM 2007 / SCOM.
Must have working knowledge of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator & DLP.
Must have working experience on Backup using Legato by EMC or Veritas by Symantec.
Must be willing to work on shifting schedule
