Senior HRIS Supervisor
Responsibilities:
Summary: The position of Senior Supervisor, HRIS Philippines is responsible for leading the SunPower HRIS team (located in the Philippines). The HRIS team is accountable for the timely and accurate input of HRrecords for SunPower globally (new hire data, terminations, salary changes, department changes, address changes, performance appraisals, recognition awards, and sales bonus data). In addition, this team also provides reports from the HR systems to various teams in the HR and finance organizations. The Senior Supervisor, HRIS Philippines reports to the Sr. Director HR Operations (based in the US). Job Responsibilities: • Managing and driving team performance • Intraday and daily performance monitoring of team members • Ensuring team members are properly trained and mentored • Establish, track, and support service level agreements and standards for the team including productivity, performance, and accuracy metrics • Resolved escalated issues/problems. • Communicating to all team members any new requirements, changes, updates on all support related information as well as company information • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with payroll, finance, and worldwide HR organizations • Represent the HRIS team on special projects/initiatives • Work closely with payroll to ensure flow of data from HRIS to the payroll system as well as accuracy of data (audits).
Requirements: • Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or any Business Related Courses • Hands on experience using the Human Capital Management modules of Oracle HR and associated reporting tools (Discoverer, BI Publisher) • Supervisory experience with HRIS/HR operations team • Familiarity with US HR standard concepts, practices and procedures • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals, interact and respond to questions from management, solve practical business problems and deal with sensitive and confidential information and matters • Solid interpersonal skills, including excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a high pressure enviroment • Continuously examine processes for improvements in efficiency, work flow, and cost savings (process improvement, process excellence) • High level of capability with Microsoft Windows applications with special emphasis on Excel • Night shift adaptability
Shipping Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Supervise a team of shipping assistants, product handlers and shippers and through effective coaching, training and mentoring drive FG warehouse productivity and performance.
• Administer company policies including safety, and housekeeping; empower and hold accountable personnel to execute same.
• Implement new and improve existing FG warehouse and shipping methods and procedures necessary to ensure products are delivered on time and in good condition to meet the customer's expectation.
• Directs shipping associates in the prompt and accurate reporting of transactions relating to material moves, picking, staging, receiving, replenishment, verifying inventory accuracy, and location control for all finished goods within SPMM and external WH.
• Prepare operating budgets and provide input into capital budget plans and shipping/Packaging supplies; review and analyze monthly budget performance; recommend and execute action to meet budgetary objectives.
• Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain operations; execute and embed the use of KOS tools with all FG shipping associates.
• Manage inventory levels and cycle counts for finished goods by working with FG inventory Control.
• Identify, justify and implement capital improvements within the Logistics/Shipping Dept.
• Attend and participate in meetings, CAPA closure and participate in various projects and prepare reports and analyses as required or assigned.
• Liaise with Planning, Packaging, Product Development, QA and Manufacturing supervisors with regards to packaging improvements, customer requests, scheduling and movement of Finished Goods for shipments.
• Ensure compliance to ISO, SOX and other corporate mandated certification
• Assist other Departments as instructed.
Requirements:
• Technical know-how on packaging improvements and specifications to maximize container efficiency and safe handling while in transit in any mode of shipments.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work in a rapid pace, very dynamic and changing environment.
• Ability to successfully interact and positively influence at several levels within the organization.
• Knowledge and experience in the use of Oracle systems.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint required
• Requires five years experience in Shipping/Packaging or an equivalent combination of education/experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead or actual supervisory experience is required
• Must have specific knowledge of and experience with material handling equipment and systems, physical distribution and warehousing mechanized system
• At least 3 - 5 years of shipping and warehouse experience in solar or electronics manufacturing industry
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering or related business field
