Responsibilities:
General Description:
The software test engineer helps the team release the highest quality product to our customers by verifying our product's functionality in a controlled test environment before releasing to the production environment.
Reviews Functional Requirements Documents and finds bugs at design time
Develops and maintains a comprehensive set of test cases based on requirements documents
Runs test cases and reports the results
Finds defects and creates detailed defect reports
Follows up on reported defects and verifies bug fixes
Effectively communicates with the Software Test Lead through meetings, status reports and email
Assists in the training of new employees
Assists in the writing of all test deliverables including TRD, and test criteria
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology
or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
Knowledge of test methodologies and processes
Knowledge of test case design
Strong communication in English
Strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve problems
Experience working with internet technologies and applications
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot anomalies in software
Natural curiosity for how things work
Enthusiasm and passion for testing
Desire to grow and learn in the field of software testing
Knowledgeable on SDLC and Testing Life Cycles.
Experience working with any Test Automation Tools.
Experience working with any Bug Tracking Tools.
Knowledge of test plan creation.
Previous experience working as a Software Test Engineer
Web (HTML) skills
