Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY
The SharePoint Support Developer is responsible for developing new applications and maintaining existing ones to support the needs of different departments. He is also responsible for providing both technical and admin support to the SharePoint and Web Services Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, maintains and upgrades SharePoint and Web Applications
Assists the SharePoint and Web Services Manager by providing technical research, consultation and support services in various areas
Coordinates with the SharePoint & Web Services Team regarding other requirements
Assists in the design and maintenance of a Software Development Process
Participates in project planning, execution and deployment
Provides basic and advanced technical support, maintenance and delivery of projects
Adheres to professional standards for support and development practices
Actively participates in troubleshooting and provide timely issue resolutions
Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’ Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or any related field
Relevant Experience
Good understanding of the principles of Object-Oriented software design with strong working knowledge of Microsoft products, a plus
Platforms: Win 2003, 2000, XP, Windows 9x, 2003
Development Technologies: .NET 2.0 (ASP.NET), HTML, XML, ASP 3.0, JavaScript, SQL
Database: SQL Server 2005
Tools: SharePoint Designer
Networking/Admin: IIS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL, LAN, WAN, VPN, Cookies, Web Security, Active Directory
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and analysis skills

Work Schedule
Able to work in rotational shifts, with adherence to schedule a must; including evenings, and weekends
