QA Engineer

Responsibilities:
This is a technical position requiring the development of automated testing scripts, code level analysis and data validation. In addition, the position will require the review of functional a technical requirements along with developing test conditions and scenarios. The QA Engineer will be responsible for selection, creating, implementing, and automating testing tools across multiple components of a proprietary application. The Engineer will design, documents and implement test plans for new projects, report and manage defects, regress software fixes for new and existing products, assist in development with replicating and debugging problems and develop test automation solutions as needed.
Major Responsibilities:
Work with Development, Product Management, Program Management, and QA management to establish & execute testing requirements.
Work with QA management to implement quality standards, best practices, & methodologies.
Work closely with development and program management to document testing and product requirements for project areas.
Work closely with development and program management on tracking and driving resolution of testing issues
Deliver weekly product test coverage and defect reports to his/her lead.
Develop our automation test harness and strategy (e.g. Selenium, OpenLoad, Team Foundation Server)
Review and ensure internationalization and localization standards
Escalate issues to his/her manager as needed for resolution.

Knowledge and Skills:
Ideal candidate should have articulate written and speaking skills, be an analytical, inquisitive, and methodical problem solver. Hands on experience with 2 or more of the following platforms are required UNIX (hp, Solaris, AIX), Microsoft platforms Windows 2000/2008 server, .NET environment. A working knowledge of the following HTML, SQL, Javascript, and XML is preferred. Experience of webserver environments such as WebLogic, IIS, and/or Webshpere is desired. Candidate must have experience with automation software such as QTP, Selenium or OpenLoad. Commercial software product testing experience in Windows and UNIX, practical knowledge of SQL (e.g. write simple queries, understand DB schemas). Strong understanding of QA methodology: Test Plans, Test Suites, Test Cases, and Test Reporting. Professional experience creating documentation in MS-Office products Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required skill(s): UNIX, Windows 2000/2008, .NET Environment.
Preferred skill(s): HTML, SQL, Javascript.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent. Job role in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.

General Accountant - Payroll
Responsibilities:
Administer payroll processing procedures (direct and indirect) for Supervisors and Staff.
Computes Final Pay of resigned employees, salary differentials, and other salary-related adjustments.
Assures completeness of information provided versus the ones entered in the system.
Summarizes adjustments from previous payroll.
Conduct periodic analysis on disputes and complaints and recommend procedures for improvement.
Preparation of monthly government contribution lists (SSS, PHIC, HDMF and loans).
Administer Part-timers, contractual and trainees payroll processing.
Custodian of all payroll files.
Attend to payroll-related complaints and queries.
Timely distribution of pay slips.
Preparation of schedules and reports as maybe delegated and/or requested.
Recommend solutions on payroll related problems.
Other functions as maybe delegated by the General Accounting Supervisor.
