Description:
APAC Customer Services is looking for individuals who are qualified for the position of Payroll Supervisor.
Successfuly applicants for Payroll Supervisor will have a great career in APAC Customer Services.
Responsible for the supervision of the daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly functions of payroll operations. Ensures compliance with government (SSS/Phil-Health/HDMF/BIR) regulations and timely payment of wages and taxes. Recognizes and recommends areas needing improvement.
Directly supervises Payroll Administrators to ensure timely and accurate processing. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ensures compliance with company policies and Federal, State and Local tax laws.
Responsible in payroll processing of Exempt attendances which includes entering of data into Lawson and reporting .
Tests and implements ATS payroll automation updates and upgrades.
Responsible in the validation of the initial and final payroll register from the provider.
Responsible for year-end tax procedures including but not limited to BIR 2316 reconciliation and reprints.
Responsible in payroll processing of Retroactive payments & salary adjustments.
Assist in any reconciliation required for payroll items against general ledger accounts.
Assist in identifying, analyzing and resolving of all payroll queries and problems encountered during and after payroll payments.
Responsible for various research and audits as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
At least 3 years payroll supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Lawson Payroll and Accounting System experience is strongly preferred.
Analytical and detail oriented.
Demonstrates problem solving and good communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Applicants must be willing to work in Metro Manila.
Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
