Responsibilities:
Conducts SQA and internal audits to ensure that projects and departments follow the defined process. Audit software work products and review software engineering activities to verify compliance. Provide feedback to project teams and management on quality aspects.
Identifies and recommends SQA tools that will enhance and further improve the effectiveness on performing SQA functions.
Validates project data to ensure consistency and completeness and perform data collection and analysis of completed software projects.
Supports the implementation and evaluation of programs that will ensure company-wide compliance with WIS-defined policies, processes, procedures and standards that will ensure the delivery of software products that meet customer expectations on schedule, within budget, and with the highest quality.
Educates and mentors project team members on process-related issues; occasionally acts as process facilitator and ensures that project experience is harvested, documented and fed back to the process.
Identifies process improvement opportunities and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Keeps track of project schedules and milestones across multiple Software Engineering Teams and provide project visibility to all internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or any related course.
At least 7-10 years of working experience, preferably in a commercial software development environment with defined software development processes in place.
Exposure to Rational Unified Process (RUP) or Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMi) – related process framework.
Familiarity with standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) methodology, processes and their implementation.
Related training on Microsoft tools or technologies preferred.
PMP Certification is an advantage.
Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2008 or ISO 20000 is an advantage.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Applicant must be willing to work in Clark, Pampanga.
