Translate and edit recorded dictation by physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient assessment and treatment.
Job Requirements (Technical)
Requires a minimum of three (3) years of acute care experience as a registered nurse. Has the ability to transcribe at least 50 words per minute. Requires strong keyboard skill with a high degree of accuracy. Extensive background with English grammar and usage along with a strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, and pharmacology is a must. We prefer experience with a variety of work types including radiology, ER, pathology and clinical specialties. Must be familiar with various hardware and software products necessary to perform assigned tasks.
