Responsibilities:
Recognizes, interprets, and evaluates inconsistencies, discrepancies, and inaccuracies in the transcribed medical dictation and appropriately documents them
uses reference materials appropriately and efficiently to facilitate the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of reports
Provide helpful and professional feedback regarding quality issues to medical transcriptionists utilizing proprietary software
Proven track record of team development and team members producing 99% quality
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a professional manner

Requirements
Preference will be given to MT-Editors or MT QA Specialists who have been employed or practicing medical transcription within the last two years. Minimum requirement is at least one year as a Medical Transcription Editor.
Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and AAMT guidelines and procedures
Must have excellent grasp of the English language (excellent ability to speak, read, and write English; Intermediate to advanced level in English grammar, spelling, punctuation usage, etc)
Computer skills, including MS Word and Windows required
Being a CMT is a plus
