Description:
Aegis PeopleSupport is looking for individuals who are qualified for the position of Lead, Tax Compliance.
Successfuly applicants for Lead, Tax Compliance will have a great career in Aegis PeopleSupport.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform reconciliation and analysis of tax accounts; tracks tax payments and creates tax roll forward
* Prepare tax reports with analysis and sound recommendation
* Assist Manager in the development and implementation of best tax strategies and tax planning opportunities
* Assist Manager in resolving and preventing tax issues and concerns and coming up with recommendations on how to address it
* Assist Manager in reviewing significant contracts and transactions and determining relevant tax implications and tax recommendations
* Assist Manager in the assessment of tax impact to new accounting standards / practice that will be adopted by the Company
* Assist Manager during tax audits and tax assessments
* Act as coordinator with external tax auditors (IRS, US State Agencies, EY, SGV, BDO, etc.)
* Act as lead in the conduct of internal tax compliance audit
REQUIREMENTS:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
* At least 4 years general accounting or auditing experience
* CPA required
* Knowledge of Philippine and US taxes
* Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications
* Familiarity with local tax rules, IFRS and US GAAP
* Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
* Applicants must be willing to work in shifts
* 1 Full-Time position available.
* Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
