Responsibilities:
Assists the Employee & Labor Relations Asst Manager/Manager in the formulation of policies, their periodic review and revision
Acts as subject matter expert on policy interpretation and consultant to Operations Supervisors and Managers in the effective implementation
Assists in the resolution of disciplinary and grievance cases including fact-finding, investigation and inquiry; and acting as arbiter between the EE and Operations Supervisor/Manager
Assists in the preparation of citations, their implementation, and monitoring of compliance; and maintains periodic reports thereof
Actively represents Human Capital in all EE forums, in Employee Engagement & Labor Relations Manager’s absence
Consistently keeps abreast with Labor Laws to ensure the Company’s registration/re-registration, and further compliance with the Dept of Labor & Employment (DOLE) regulatory requirements/reports i.e. EE Termination, Health and Safety
Assist in conducting related training programs designed to educate EEs on Company policies and related Labor Laws
Shares EE counseling responsibilities with the Assistant Manager / Manager
Ensures protection and monitoring of EE whereabouts, as well as compliance with safety, health and environmental programs
Assists in the implementation of ancillary vertical programs aimed at promoting employee engagement and retention, a “fun at work environment”, reinforce values, and strengthen a culture of pride
Assists in the communication drive for internal branding and positive EE relations, thru the implementation of tools that provide information and update on employee programs and events
Assists in the communication of corporate advisories to ensure that messages are aligned with the overall corporate strategy
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Human Resource Management, Psychology, Organization, Behavioral Science, Labor Law, Business Administration or any related field, or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Working experience in the formulation and implementation of Company policies, carrying out disciplinary action, consultation, and handling of EE grievances
Meaningful knowledge in Labor Laws, administrative query, and labor regulatory compliance
Efficiency in problem resolution, organizing, leading, and coordinating activities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated MS Application knowledge – Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
Able to work rotational shifts with adherence to schedule a must, including evenings, weekends and overtime as necessary
Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
