Responsibilities:

Creating and updating financial records in ledgers using an automated accounting system.
Preparing and filing of routine administrative paperwork to include purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll documents.
Reconciles various reports to source documents and the automated accounting system.
Performs reconciliation of accounts, contacts vendors to resolve problems and expedite payment, and responds to inquiries by telephone or in writing.
Handles cash and cash related transactions, issues receipts and prepares bank deposits.
Assists in preparation of financial statements such as billings, budgets, and cost reports.

Requirements:

Accounting graduate or its equivalent from a reputable university/college.
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger procedures and practices.
Knowledge of GAAP, and accounting standards and procedures of the Philippines.
Ability to encode, post, reconcile, and produce/review reports from an automated accounting system.
Ability to prepare, sort, and file routine administrative paperwork.
Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
Must have analytical skills and keen eye on details.
Highly organized and efficient.
