Responsibilities:
Financial Controller is a strategic and operational role, with significant fiscal responsibility. Provide business partner guidance and leadership for major functional organizations across the company. Responsibilities include business unit financial planning, reporting, financial analysis, banking, internal controls, policy creation, compliance reporting, forecasting, tax filings, management of budget and audit processes, A/R, A/P, Payroll, direct staff and contractors.
360training is an online training technology and digital content company. We are looking for an Financial Controller who will have the following duties:
Deliver timely financial reporting to parent company and management, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and submissions to parent company.
Ability to interpret financial results and analyze financial information to properly manage assets and liabilities in the best interests of the company.
Manage local staff by providing guidance and assistance in the preparation and distribution of Payroll, A/R, A/P and Cash Flow projections.
Create, document, implement and enforce internal financial controls and procedures.
Provide financial modeling for various business needs and indentify opportunities for process improvement.
Drive budget process and integrate results into the financial systems for reporting.
Act in tandem as part of local management team with Operational Managers.
Interface and coordinate with various external parties such as tax accountants, banks, auditors, vendors, and customers.
Requirements:
We are looking for a suitable individual with the following qualifications:
Broad knowledge and experience in financial management accounting, internal controls, and audit procedures.
Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to execute strategy effectively in a fast-paced environment.
7 to 12 years of relevant and increasingly complex experience including (3) years management responsibilities
BS/BA in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
Software experience: QuickBooks, MS Office, Advanced MS Excel
Experience in a multi-entity, global environment strongly preferred
Willing to work on mid-shift schedule (3PM to 12AM)
