Teledevelopment Services is looking for individuals who are qualified for the position of ENGINEERING SPECIALIST - MESSAGING.

Responsibilities:
A. Incident Management responsibilities:
Acts as 2nd-level support or escalation Point-of-Contact for the Tier 1 NOC Engineer for incidents related to MS-Exchange Mail Systems;
Will be responsible for trouble-shooting incidents related to the companys MS-Exchange system;
Provides technical documentation to changes and resolutions made during the incident;
Submits a Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) Report for stakeholders and/or Service owners detailing immediate and long-term plans to prevent the same incident from re-occurrence.
B. Systems Administration and Monitoring responsibilities:
Performs periodic analysis of MS-Exchange servers using the monitoring tool and will be responsible to recommend upgrades and optimization projects to improve systems performance and availability;
Will be responsible to test and apply Exchange server patches;
Configures and performs periodic back-up of MS-Exchange server data;
Performs periodic checks to ensure the MS-Exchange back-up can be restored properly;
With guidance from Global IT Team, applies specific email policy settings for users based on company-established email guidelines;
Ensure that the Exchange servers are secure and properly configured against possible security loopholes;
In coordination with the Global Infra Team, will apply configuration changes e.g. fix, patches, IP transfer, etc. - to the MS-Exchange server;
Will perform day-to-day monitoring of MS-Exchange;
Will be responsible for configuring MS-Exchange monitoring tools to enable pro-active management of the network;
Will be responsible to train Tier 1 Engineers on how to use and read the data coming from the monitoring tools;
C. Configuration Management
Maintains and updates the Configuration Document pertaining to the MS-Exchange setup in the data centers;
Conducts testing for configuration changes prior to deployment;
Requirements:
At least 4 years experience in managing and performing administration of MS-Exchange servers; MCSE certification or equivalent certification in Ms-Exchange Admin will be added advantage;
Must have deep working knowledge in using monitoring tools e.g. Compaq Insight Manager and the like;
Flexible and able to work or be on-call 24x7;
Quick learner and self-starter
