Responsibilities:
JR. GRAPHIC ARTIST
Edits and watermarks raw images of products using Adobe Photoshop CS4.
Gathers and organizes images for listings.
Enters necessary information of products in Turbo Lister.
Works with web content team in listing procedure.
Coordinates with Web Graphic Designer and Content Writer for template modifications.
Creates graphic designs as required by the Web Graphic Designer.
Performs other graphic design duties as required by the manager.
GRAPHIC ARTIST
Designing and creating page layouts for the company websites with an emphasis on enhancing the customer experience.
Fixing layout bugs
Creating graphic designs for custom accessory items.
Creating and modification of product images for inclusion in web sites.
Producing HTML email templates
Will work with back end developers on integration of the layout with back end coding
Other web development duties as required.
JR. WEB CONTENT WRITER
Writing, proofing and maintaining effective sales generating web content for products sold by an e-commerce retail company that sells through its organic web site as well as eBay and Amazon, This includes landing pages, emails, product data, online advertising and web promotions, and search engine metadata.
Writes marketing and product descriptions following guidelines set by the Sales & Marketing Department. This includes being aware of regional requirements for content, e.g. English (U.K.) spellings versus English (American) spellings etc.
Requirements:
JR. GRAPHIC ARTIST
Related work experience in graphic design of at least 0-1 year.
Proficient in Adobe CS3/CS4 Photoshop & MS Office Applications
Knowledge in basic HTML coding
Can work under tight deadlines
Organized and able to communicate with a team
GRAPHIC ARTIST
Male or female
XHTML, CSS< W3C, CSS design, AJAX, script.aculo.us, Prototype, etc.
Strong UI Design and Graphics Design Background
Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge
Knowledge of JavaScript and browser compatibility issues
Strong knowledge of Web Code/Markup
A highly creative approach to Web Design and familiarity with trends in design and technology
JR. WEB CONTENT WRITER
Excellent writing, editing, and quality control skills with thorough knowledge of the English language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage. Must be aware of regional English differences e.g. English versus American.
Professional web writing experience, specifically writing web-based marketing content (samples required)
Thorough knowledge of browser compatibility issues for all platforms/major browsers
Microsoft server-side ASP development experience
Conversion of existing images (TIFF, BMP, PSD) for online use (JPG, GIF) using Adobe Image Ready and Photo Shop is a must
Knowledge of CMS (Content Management Systems) a definite plus
Urgently needed.
