ShoreTel is seeking highly motivated individuals passionate about evangelizing emerging technology to join our corporate sales team. In your role as a Corporate Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in the development and success of our unique inside sales organization. The Inside Sales Team?s function will be to work closely with our channel partners and proactively assist them in maximizing sales for their territory. This will include training the channel on product and sales methodologies, conducting joint sales calls, providing product demonstrations, business planning, proactively managing sales through our smaller partners and managing the pipeline to maximize success.
As a CSR, you will be responsible for revenue targets associated with your assigned partners along with group revenue targets as part of the overall operating plan. In addition, you will be responsible for the daily sales functions such as, driving revenue, managing selected system integrator partners, including business planning and pipeline management, developing a deep understanding of the full range of capabilities of our product, conducting technical demonstrations, assisting in formulating deals, and providing guidance in channel partner management and ensuring that sales plans are executed. You will play a key role in developing and executing business plans with your reseller partners. In addition, you will provide back-up sales support for the field based Area Manager and Sales Engineer within your assigned territories and assist with add-on and expansion sales.
A critical component of this position will be to achieve and maintain high levels of performance and productivity. Building and maintaining strong sales team relationships is a requirement for success.
This is a unique position within ShoreTel. This role will have visibility at the highest levels. The sales and technical training will be comprehensive and thorough. You will spend time learning about every group within the company. Your performance and growth will be reviewed on a monthly basis and if your performance warrants, if positions are available, you will be promoted to a field area manager. You must be willing to relocate.

Experience:
Channel Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of 2-4 years of sales experience, with over 2 years of proven success working on a sales team in a high-tech systems, products or service solutions environment. Experience with channel development is highly desired.
Must have a proven record of exceeding established revenue quotas in channel sales or via direct end-user sales.
Industry Experience:
Must have developed working knowledge/experience in data and/or voice systems and technologies, such as knowledge of switches, routers, etc. Ideal candidates will possess experience in both data and voice software and hardware technologies.
Experience selling emerging technology and evangelizing emerging markets is highly desired.
Familiarity with the IP-Voice market and its competitive landscape are highly desired.
Commitment to learning the details of the capabilities and limitations of our product is required. Likewise for our competitors products.
Sales Approach:
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in solutions sales environments, including complex sales success. Call Center Sales experience is considered to be a plus.
Experience selling software applications, such as ERP, CRM, or ACD is favorable.
