Job Description

This position is responsible for providing customer service on behalf of PeopleTalk and its clients. Establishes and builds positive relationships with company’s clients.


Essential Job Functions:
* Abide by all Company and Divisional procedures and policies.
* Work collaboratively with other agents and PeopleTalk management to meet evolving company and client objectives.
* Exhibit a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
* Demonstrate maturity, integrity and character in relationships with all colleagues, customers and prospective customers.
* Attend meetings, training sessions, and product introductions.
* Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
* Knowledge of customer service processes.
* Must be a good listener, enthusiastic, energetic, and creative as it relates to resolving customer issues.
* Ability to function in a rapidly changing and evolving work environment.
* Must be able to type at least 30 words per minute.
* Capable of multi-tasking.
* Ability to build productive business relationships with peers and customers.
* Must develop and display good decision making skills as it relates to thinking on one’s feet.

Education and Experience:
* Strong conversational English, verbal and written communication skills REQUIRED.
* At least one year or 12 months of Customer Service call handling REQUIRED.
* Six (6) months of continuous employment in one call center REQUIRED.
* College degree in Business, Marketing or related area preferred.
* Understanding of US business culture preferred.
* Understanding of US Geography and Demographics preferred.
* At least two years prior experience working with computers and experience with Microsoft Windows and use of the Internet.
