Asylum is looking for individuals who are qualified for the position of Business Development Manager (Service Providers).

Key duties:
- Market positioning for Asylum Telecom for broadband telephony solutions
- Forecasting and achievement of revenue stream targets
- Identify and recruit new Service Providers and assist them in achieving revenue objectives
- Provide Service Provider and end-user competitive analysis and feedback
- Contribute to Service Provider support/feature support, including feedback of end-user requirements
- Work with Product Managers, Marketing, and Channel Management teams to ensure consistency and best practices in developing the broadband telephony offering and increasing sales opportunities.
- Development of and delivery of business plans for Service Providers, including training and motivation of the Service Provider sales force, where appropriate
Key skills and experience required:
- Proven background in Service Provider sales within the Internet and Telecommunications industry
- Consistent track record of achieving sales targets
- Familiarity with IP, LAN technology, WAN (including xDSL), Telephony (VOIP, TDM, PSTN, VPN), Telecom protocols and policies
- Highly motivated and results orientated with a determination to succeed in achieving targets and objectives
- Confident, independent personality
Able to identify key issues and work with colleagues and business partners to resolve problems efficiently
- Strong communications skills, both oral and written
- Ability to assimilate complex information in a structured and coherent manner
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Committed to a high quality output
- Good team player who is flexible and adaptable
- Commercially astute and entrepreneurial in nature
- Excellent relationship building skills with powerful commercial acumen
- Direct experience of having built Service Provider relationships from scratch and built a substantial revenue stream
