Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, compliance to GAAP, PEZA, BIR and other audit requirements, budget preparation, forecast and analysis of accounts. Develop, implement and improve accounting policy and procedures; and supervise day to day activities of accounting staff.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
Currently at supervisory level
Preferably Certified Public Accountant
Knowledge in general accounting, PEZA and BIR Reporting
At least 5 years solid working experience in General Accounting
Financial Statement preparations
Knowledge with any computerized accounting system
Knowledge in the development of accounting process, documentation and implementation
Ability to work in an international and culturally diverse organization
Flexible, Dependable, Responsible, Service-Oriented, Team player
With good sense of urgency, must have initiative
Proficient in English communication, both written and oral
Proficient in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Good time management and organizational abilities
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Able to follow instructions precisely and excellent eye for detail
Willingness to learn and helpful personality
