Doretel Communications, Inc. is immediately seeking independent sales professionals responsible for direct Cisco networking solution sales including products and professional services. A successful Account Manager must have excellent comprehension of infrastructure solutions involving IP Telephony, LAN/WAN, Security and Wireless. Specific expertise and selling background in Cisco networking solutions and a strong selling track record is an absolute requirement. You must have the ability to present at key levels of upper management within your client base. Problem solving and a strong technical background are a plus.
(S)he will email/speak with customers on a regular basis to identify and analyze current and future product and service needs, matching products and services to customer requirements. Overall responsibilities will also include aggressively finding new accounts and opportunities. One to two years of selling CISCO products is an absolute requirement and knowledge of the Cisco Configurator Tool is a plus. You will have the ability to work from a home office.
Critical Skills and Experience:
- 2 years selling Cisco and/or other networking products
- Ability to close inbound leads, cold call and build relationships
- Strong selling skills and the ability to close business over the phone
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotes and productivity targets
- Excellent oral and written skills
