Upnet Taide service is based on IP telephony which means that your calls are routed over the Internet, and not the public switched telephone network. Product types range from calling cards to direct IP telephony to your location.

Upnet Taide started its VoIP services in February 2005 and is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Theyare currently a team of 9 people with various backgrounds. Some of them have been working with telecommunication for a long time and some are new in the field.

Upnet Taide is commited to using Open Source Software in their base platform and their system is mainly based on the Asterisk PBX.

A popular service is Upnet Taide calling card, which lets you call from your regular phone to our telephone switch and then place cheap international calls.

You can start calling in less than five minutes just by signing up and transferring funds to your Upnet Taide account with a credit card or through Hansa Bank
