DORETEL Communications, Inc was established as a "Next Generation" wholesale long distance provider using Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) technology. The company has been in existence since January 1999 and was incorporated on March 1, 1999 in the state of Florida. Through the company`s contacts in the area and through joint venture opportunities, the company positioned itself becoming a regional provider of telecommunication services to the area. The company has capitalized on Doretel Communications management team and the company`s US presence, Doretel Communication has taken advantage of new technology, established relationships with US carriers and telecom licenses throughout the region to offer a wide variety of products.

DORETEL Communications, Inc first executed and established its first voice termination network in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on October 12, 1999 providing affordable wholesale long distance services to small and mid-sized telecom companies, creating a financial platform for the first stage of its expansion plan, which calls for establishing links from the US to Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. The company had simultaneously moved into the telecom hardware and software sales and development becoming an authorized partner for companies like Cisco Systems, Lucent Technologies, Nortel Networks and many others. Through government licenses and interconnection agreements obtained by Doretel with Telecom governmental agencies and companies outside of the US the company has managed to become one of the frontrunners in the telecom hardware industry as well as developing and creating structures for start-up companies that choose to become part of the communications industry.

Among the company`s mid and long term goals are plans to offer value added services to domestic & international companies expanding to different areas of the globe. Additionally, it plans to market products such as prepaid calling cards, wireless services, residential and commercial phone service, WI-FI services to the hospitality industry and bandwidth deployment throughout the world as well as network management using our sophisticated and proprietary technology that will also allow our customers to monitor and invoice their customers right from a web-interface at real time. These programs and services are just a synopsis of what Doretel Communications goals, achievements and forecasts are.
