BusinessEdge was established in 1999, founded by Frank Casagrande, Chairman, Emanuel Arturi, Chief Executive Officer, and Shailendra Jain and Peter Gibson, both Group Presidents. Including BusinessEdge Solutions, all four founders have worked together for over 20 years in three other successful consulting and technology ventures founded by Frank and Manny.
The gameplan for BusinessEdge was to establish a consultancy that would compete from day one against the much larger, well established firms. At the time, the target was the big five and IBM. The platform to compete today is the same as it was when the firm started in 1999; Industry expertise, senior "A+" talent and asset leverage to reduce time, cost and risk of engagements. Today we have three very successful industry segments in the Communications, Media and Content (CMC), Financial Services and Life Sciences. These three industries are each significant growth engines that enable BusinessEdge to surpass even their own aggressive growth targets.
The success of BusinessEdge is inextricably connected to several basic philosophies deeply engrained in the culture of the firm.
