Advanced Customer Services (ACS) has been in the business since 1982, longer than many of our competitors. Each of our managers has over 5 years experience in the call center industry. ACS have seen teleservice companies and ideas come and go. ACS can identify a truly new idea and a repackaged antique. ACS continue to survive on our ability to service their clients in the teleservices area.
Advanced Customer Service (ACS) was established in 1982, to service the extended service program of a regional retailer of appliances and home electronics with 40 stores in three states. In the early 1980's the retailer established an extended service program. With the rapid expansion of the retailer, it soon became apparent that extended service program customers need to be directed away from the retail sales floor to a dedicated environment. At that time, the president of ACS, James Agnello was the controller of the retailer. Mr. Agnello subsequently left the retailer to form ACS to fill that need, and it has been in operation ever since.
From a modest beginning ACS developed a database management system and the infrastructure to market and maintain the entire extended service process. Currently, ACS has over 150 positions in 5 locations that service many accounts. Our management on the team comes from industry notables such as American Express, GE, Sears, RCA, and Michigan Consolidate Gas Co.
